So, I am Mark Adam Crow, and this is my music. What more really is there to say. I am one man, an artist. I write what I feel in the moment. If you listen to my music, you will find a wide variety of sounds, ranging from the light and airy, to dark and heavy. So kick back, relax and listen awhile.
My mom used to say that we all wear different hats. Music is like that. Each song is like a hat. Each one tells it's own story, and carries with it, an identity all it's own. Hats can be worn and taken off, and they are not all suitable at all times. Rather, each one having it's time and place. Songs are like that. Each one representing it's own moment, it's own experience, it's own feeling. I am always posting up new music, so be sure to stop in from time to time, as new tracks are always just right around the corner.

My influences? To be honest, I am influenced by everything. I'm always trying to get better at this music thing, and so I am constantly studying the work of others. Spanning all the way from old 70's rock, to 80's rock and pop, Michael Jackson, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, INXS, Fine Young Cannibals, REM, Simple Minds, David Bowie up through the 90's industrial and grunge movements, all the way to modern metal and hip hop like Trivium, Shadows Fall, Five Finger Deathpunch, Timberland, EMINEM, Lil Wayne and T-Pain, just to name a small few. I like to listen to just about everything and I try to learn from what I am listening to. All of these artists, among countless others, are very successful at their art, and I appreciate that.
I am an all around artist. I write, compose, record, produce and distribute all of my own music. I play various instruments as well as design all my own album art. Not to mention draw, paint, make weird sculptures, make weird short films, and I have just completed my third complete book on the philosophy of being be, not like anyone would ever want to read them. They are mostly just the rambling of a madman.
My music is inspired by life and the roller coaster ride that it takes us on. I try to be true with what I feel and do my best to express those feelings to the audience. All too often artists confine themselves within a specific genre. Genre is just another word for "inside the box" kind of thinking. These kinds of "boxes", these prisons of creativity have no place in art.
I have written a lot of music, and it is my philosophy that if people want to hear that music, than I shall let them. I remember the moment when I lost faith in one of my greatest idols, Metallica. This moment did not come when they released Load, or ReLoad, or S&M, or any of that. It was when Lars Ulrich sued Napster for allowing free music downloads. All because he wasn't getting a piece of the pie. WHAT PIE?! IT WAS FREE!!! Lars had become greedy, and he had forgotten his roots. Metallica had gained their fame through the power of dubbed tapes back in the 80's. Back then it was normal for people to have a bunch of empty tapes, and to use those tapes to record whatever music they wanted. Metallicas first album went huge overnight, and it was all due to dubbed versions of their tapes. There was no money to be made from those tapes, but instead they gained an international army of fans. Then, Lars turned his back on his core following. The very thing that put him where he is now, all in exchange for a few bucks. It's really quite sad. Now the music industry is all messed up and everyone wants to make it rich off of a few copied digital files.
Point is, if you want to listen to my music, go right ahead. If you want to download it, and put it on your computer, or your iphone, or your mp3, or whatever, go for it. If you wanna make a million copies and give them out to people all over the world, that would be awesome. If you want to remix my work, at least contact me first. If you try to take credit for my work, ...well that is when we have an issue, but otherwise, have at it. Listen and copy freely, and if you decide to buy a CD to show your support, I do have them available.
A great deal of my music is available for free listening at REVERBNATION.com There you will also find free downloads, t-shirts, CD's, ringtones and more all personally designed by yours truly. So drop in, check it out, and share with others.

"The Crow Show" is going to be focused on the underground scene. Unsigned artists, busting their ass to get heard. I want to showcase rock, rap, metal, hip hop, industrial, electronica and whatever else I think sounds awesome. I want to include interviews with the bands, maybe some giveaways that could include CD's, swag, and…
